I designed my dress and chose the pale pink colour as it enhances my rosy skin tone. The entire idea of the dress was a corset beaded top and the balance of the dress was flowing with a slit to enhance the dress design and give character to the materials used. I felt like a princess and danced like a princess. The beads added to the corset top were individually sewn on by a skilled seamstress called Grace. Grace was able to translate my dream dress idea into reality and for that I am eternally grateful to her for making my matric dance dreams come true.
