“Hoop”, which means hope. It’s simple but powerful , a reminder to stay positive, believe in better days, and keep moving forward no matter what challenges come your way.

What was your inspiration for your matric prom dress?

This is a modern day princess inspiration. It symbolizes elegance and confidence. I chose this lilac sequined dress because it feels elegant, soft, and confident, just how I wanted to feel on my matric night. The sparkle and off-shoulder design add a fairytale touch, while the slit gives it a modern, bold edge. It’s the perfect mix of grace and glamour that truly reflects me.

What was your favorite part of your matric prom dress?

This dress means so much to me because it represents a special milestone in my life. Wearing it made me feel confident, beautiful, and proud of how far I’ve come. The lilac colour and sparkle remind me to always shine in my own way and celebrate every achievement with grace and joy.
