Wat was die inspirasie agter jou matriekafskeidrok?

For my matric dance, I wanted a dress that captured elegance, confidence, and a bit of sparkle, something that reflects the woman I’ve grown into. I chose a soft and neutral fitted dress covered in detailed beadwork because I love how it blends timeless beauty with a modern, classy edge. The structured bodice and high slit made me feel bold yet graceful, while the neutral shimmer brings that soft, radiant glow under any light. I kept my accessories simple with a pair of pearl drop earrings, a silver clutch, and a delicate bracelet to let the dress speak for itself.

Wat beteken jou matriekafskeidrok vir jou?

I wanted something original and for people to say WOW when they saw me and they did!. It’s the perfect way to close one chapter and step beautifully into the next. This look represents more than just fashion to me since it’s about celebrating growth, confidence, and the journey that got me here.

The best highlight/s of my matric farewell was from the warmth of our family home as I stepped out in my dream matric dance dress and all the cheers , flashing cameras and proud smiles of family and friends . all the way to entering into the spotlight of the runway ramp crowd , entering the venue, celebrating the night with school friends and teachers , enjoying all the delicious food and making memories I will always treasure.

I plan to further my studies with particular interest in BCom Accountancy, to grow myself into a confident, qualified professional , who not just obtained a qualification, but to lead with integrity and contributes to a better future and building career rooted in purpose.
