What was your inspiration for your matric prom dress?

The right matric farewell dress can make any girl feel like royalty. Drawing inspiration from childhood admiration for the gowns of fairytale princesses, it represents a contemporary interpretation of the classic Cinderella dress with a more flattering waistline. The design reflects my personal style of classical elegance and sophistication. The inherent simplicity of the mermaid shape is elevated by the eye-catching crystal beading and subtle sway of the train. Furthermore, the various hues used, from the bright sequences to the soft champagne tones of the mesh, suit my skin tone perfectly and accentuate my features. In essence, the dress serves as a vehicle for self-expression, translating personal style and aspirations into a tangible and visually compelling form.

What was your favorite part of your matric prom dress?

The favourite part of my dress was the crystals. Even though they made the dress heavy, it felt like I was floating and shimmering all evening. I was on cloud nine.
