I chose this lilac sequined dress because it feels elegant, soft, and confident, just how I wanted to feel on my matric night. The sparkle and off-shoulder design add a fairytale touch, while the slit gives it a modern, bold edge. It’s the perfect mix of grace and glamour that truly reflects me.

This dress means so much to me because it represents a special milestone in my life. Wearing it made me feel confident, beautiful, and proud of how far I’ve come. The lilac colour and sparkle remind me to always shine in my own way and celebrate every achievement with grace and joy.

The highlight of my matric farewell was finally getting the chance to dress up and celebrate after missing my Debs Ball because of COVID. Not having a Debs Ball was disappointing, so walking into my farewell in my lilac sequined dress felt extra special ,like I was finally getting my moment. It was emotional, exciting, and unforgettable ,a night that made everything I missed feel worth the wait. After everything we missed, that night reminded me how far we’ve come and how important it is to cherish every milestone.

After matric, I plan to study for a Bachelor of Commerce in Law. I’ve always been interested in how business and law connect, and I want to build a career where I can make a real difference in both fields. This degree will give me a strong foundation to understand the legal side of business, and later I hope to specialise in corporate or commercial law. My goal is to help people and companies make fair, informed decisions while growing ethically and responsibly.
