I always wanted a minimalistic but strong, impactful dress. When I saw these strong, distinct lines and open/corset back I immediately fell in love. The volume of the skirt was a must, because I knew it would make me feel like an absolute princess. I knew this dress needed some colour and personally feel the red details were the missing piece and it completely pulled the look together.

I am always looking to do something different than everyone else, because I feel it sets me apart. So I especially looked for something that i’ve never seen before and when I saw this dress I just knew. I also wanted something more minimalistic, so that I can elevate it with accessories and do a bolder colour with my own matric dance dress.

Definitely the bodice. I loved the unique a-symmetrical lines and the corset back.
